Parent Volunteers

Interested in becoming a parent volunteer?

Below are some of the volunteer opportunities we have at our school:

• Parent Advisory Council Executive 
• Classroom Volunteer (reading with children, helping on field trips, etc.)
• Noon Hour Supervisor (paid position)
• Chaperoning for field trips

Criminal Record Check Process:

ANY volunteer working near or around children is required to have a criminal record check and vulnerable sector search (valid for 5 years) completed through the Ministry of Justice PRIOR to volunteering. This process applies to ALL volunteers regardless of the amount of time spent volunteering. 

If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer or have any questions, please contact our school office over the upcoming 2022 Summer months and we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you with a volunteer package to fill out. Forms need to be completed each school year with some every calendar year.

Please note: Volunteers and noon-hour supervisors will not be permitted to volunteer/work until HR receives their CRC clearance back from the Ministry of Justice and notifies the school if it is cleared or not.
