Our School

It is an exciting time for the Abbotsford School District as it opens it's doors to a brand-new school. The location of Irene Kelleher Totí:ltawtxw is spectacular atop Eagle Mountain, and the building thoughtfully uses natural products and takes advantage of natural lighting, creating warm and inviting learning spaces.  The school is intentionally crafted to take advantage of the outdoors as an extended learning environment.  The learning studios are designed in pairs, promoting team teaching and innovative learning opportunities that can flow indoors and outdoors seamlessly.

Our school will be built on connections that we have with students, staff, families and the environment around us.  As a strong collaborative team, we will be able to create a school community that values building kind, caring and courageous learners.  Incorporating Indigenous Principles and guided by the Circle of Courage, our staff and students will develop a mission and vision that Irene Kelleher would be proud of.
